£2 bus fares - Transpora joins Bus fare Cap scheme

TransporaBus North West has signed up to the Department for Transport (DfT) "Bus Fare Cap Grant" scheme, which will restrict the cost of a single ticket on our buses between Sunday, January 1 and Friday, March 31. It will mean bus customers on the Fylde coast can travel on any single journey across the region for £2 or less with us. Blackpool Transport and Stagecoach are also participating in the scheme.

Rhys Hand, Operations Director at Transpora Group welcomed the initiative saying that "the new £2 single fare will help existing customers with the cost of living crisis, but we also hope the scheme will encourage people to leave their cars at home and use the bus too!"
